Branding Specialist/Producer, Makiko Okada has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry - worked for numerous iconic brands such as Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, J.Crew, Brooks Brothers, and Uniqlo. Makiko has extensive knowledge about the product development process and merchandising, as well as the marketing and business side of fashion.

Makiko also produced the first-ever designer collaborations in the industry for Uniqlo with designers such as Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Opening Ceremony, which success has resulted in starting her own company in 2007. The agency has since then worked with numerous designers, including many CFDA winners.
